“To boldly go where no one has gone before.”
I've been a huge fan of Star Trek since I was a kid, and grew up watching the original series in syndication in the mid-to-late seventies. Discovery seasons 1 and 2 gave me the same feelings of nostalgia that watching the original series as an adult does for me now.
I was also a big fan of the Michael Burnham character, and loved how we got to see the original series again from her perspective as the sister of my favorite character in Star Trek, Spock.
Even though the show ultimately wasn't for everyone, I thought it was worth showing my love for the crew of the Discovery by building this showcase.
There are also several illustrator sketches below of other members of the crew that I plan on fully illustrating at a later date. Enjoy!
