I created this illustration for issue #019 of S!CK Magazine, a super-cool pop-culture news magazine based out of France. For this issue, the S!CK team asked me to create a wrap-around cover based on Dwight from the NBC/Universal television show The Office (U.S.).
The gang over at S!CK Magazine were especially excited about this cover, because they are huge fans of both the U.K. and U.S.-based syndicated shows, and absolutely love the main character of Dwight, played flawlessly by Rainn Wilson for nine seasons, on the U.S.-based series. This one was a lot of fun to illustrate!
The cover idea was originally conceived by the team at S!CK Magazine, and they provided me with a rough design, color palette, and photo reference of the actor. They wanted the cover illustration to really tie into the design and layout of the corresponding article within the magazine, and everything looked glorious in the issue because of their forward-thinking!
